Lowell J. MacDonald, is President and Funeral Director of the MacDonald Funeral Home. Lowell was born in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada. He was raised in Connecticut, attending parochial schools and two years of high school in Naugatuck, CT before locating to Clearwater, Florida in 1977 and graduating at Clearwater High School in 1979. Lowell attended college in Miami, Florida, and graduated Miami-Dade College in 1983. After graduating, he received his National Board Certification, served his internship and fully licensed by the State of Florida in 1984.

Lowell continued to serve the Miami community as a funeral director from 1984 to 1990. He then relocated to Tampa, Florida to be nearby his mother, Joyce MacDonald Carpenter, and has continued and will serve his community as a funeral director. In December 2002, MacDonald Funeral Home, a family owned funeral home opened their doors to the Tampa Bay Area community. Lowell has been helping families by providing a caring, understanding and meaningful funeral for the past 20 years.
