Our deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Dr. Dan. In the late 1980s, Dr. Dan and his family helped us with a business opportunity. Although we didn't succeed in the business, we were blessed to have met and known Dr. Dan, Carole and their children, especially Matt and Rachel. Even after all these years, we think often and always fondly of the Mayers and the gracious and caring way they embraced everyone around them. Our world certainly needs more Dr. Dans and Caroles. He will be deeply missed and long remembered. Our prayers are with the Mayers and their friends.

I am saddened by the passing of Dr. Dan Mayer.. he not only was an influence in my becoming an osteopathic physician and surgeon, but he married Leslie Sproles and I in 1982. He was a wonderful man, and a wonderful doctor. He will be missed. I send my prayers and my sympathy to the Mayer family. God Bless Dan and each of you.
