Wow! The memories of Mrs. Jewel! They go way back to my early childhood at Parkview Baptist Church! All awesome memories of her. She set the bar way up high for Pastor's wives and Christians in general! No other like her for me! She loved my mom and my mom loved her. They were best of friends. Jewel taught my mom how to start in painting and got her inspired to do it. I learned so much about how to be a spiritual Christian from her through talking to her or just watching her. She always cared about everybody she ever knew and she knew a lot of people. When we would talk she would always fill me in on her family and where each one was and what they were doing. She loved each of you dearly as you well know. Mrs. Jewel will be missed but now she is with her Heavenly Father that she adored and served for so many years and I'm sure she is filling him in on her family even though he already knows you each well. We will love and miss her so much! Love to the family and may you hold each memory very dear to your heart! love Deb

Parkview Baptist Church was my spiritual home as a child; it was where the unconditional love of God became real for me through the influence of people like Jewell and Clyde Duncan. As I sit in Hong Kong writing this message, it is far less a condolence than it is a joyful offering of thanks for the boundless grace of God made manifest in their lives. May the memory of Jewell Duncan be blessed among those who knew and loved her. John LeMond
