Mr. Alfonso “Billy” Calvo, 71, of Tampa, Florida passed away January 29, 2010. He was born on April 7, 1938 in New York City to his parents Alfonso and Alicia Calvo. His parents returned home to Tampa in 1941 where he resided until his death.  He served with the United States Navy and retired from Reynolds Metals after 31 years of service. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Diana Calvo; daughters, Marissa Walls (Curtis); and Michele Calvo; brother, Ernest Calvo (Joyce); nephews, Randy (Jeanine), Alan (Kim), Mark(Maria) and their families. A celebration of Billy’s life will take place at 7:00 PM Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at MacDonald Funeral Home, 10520 North Florida Avenue. The family will visit with friends one hour prior.
