Pauline A. Kimball, age 93, of Tampa, Florida, was called to her heavenly home on July 13, 2019, after a long, debilitating battle with Parkinson’s.
She was born in Alto, Michigan on July 7, 1926, along with her twin brother Paul Erb. She grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan during the Great Depression, lived through a World War and developed the ability to handle life’s ups and downs. She was a petite lady, but had great inner strength. She and her husband raised 5 children on a farm near Morley, Michigan, where she milked cows, raised chickens, canned from her garden, made homemade bread and hung laundry on a clothesline outside. In 1966 she moved with her two younger daughters to Zephyrhills & Tampa, Florida area. There she met her husband, John P. Kimball. They made their home in McIntosh, Florida, and were married for 25 years before John passed away in 1996. They were members of McIntosh Christian Church. She worked many years for Smith-Kline Pharmaceuticals and retired from there in 1991. She enjoyed reading her Bible and devotions, going to church, cooking, crossword puzzles, and most of all playing cards with her family & friends. She had a sharp mind and was still winning at cards while in her 90s.
She will be greatly missed by her family. She is survived by her 6 children: Paula Brunt of Minnesota, DiAnne Craner (Gordon) of Michigan, Judy Teetor (Kent) of Tampa, Florida, Frank Sharp (Edie) of Michigan, Jackie Milazzo (Anthony) of Florida, Belinda Hopkins (John), of Florida. She has 6 Grandchildren: Mary Peacock (Michael) and Kimberly Bradshaw (Richard) of Michigan, Angela Pennington, Robin McClain (Darren), Wendy Parton (Johnny) all of Florida, Steven Bracy (Melissa) of Minnesota. 12 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great-Great Grandchildren. She was very blessed to have two very special friends who were like family, Art and Ellen Sheppard.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo Erb and Ada Mae Sharp, and her beloved twin brother, Paul Erb.
