Deborah Jean Fry McQuiniff, age 60, of Tampa, Florida unexpectedly passed away on May 13, 2019. She was born on September 12, 1958 in Tampa, Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents Alland G. Fry Sr. and Luella Ruth Fry (VanBrocklin), and her sister Mary Jane (Fry) Bowers and Gloria (Fry) Babione.

She is survived by her husband Ronald L. McQuiniff and her siblings: sisters Harriet (Fry) Forkhamer, Barbara (Fry) Broyles, Nancy (Fry) Mace, Kathryn (Fry) Ellison, and Marjorie (Fry) Newton; and brothers Alland G. Fry Jr., Thomas Fry Sr., Theodore Fry, and Edward Fry. She is also survived by many cousins, nephews, and nieces who adored and loved her.

Deborah was a devoted and loving wife, sister, aunt, and friend. She worked as a teacher’s aide who served and loved some very special students at Seminole Heights Elementary for Hillsborough County Public Schools. Deborah was the center of “fun” wherever she went. She was bright, funny, and very caring. Her love and concern for her family and friends was boundless. Everybody wanted to spend time with “Aunt Deb.” As the biblical meaning of her name indicates, she was the queen “bee”.

Deborah was born and raised as a member of Tampa First Church of the Nazarene. Jesus Christ was her savior whom she loved, and she frequently lifted her family and friends in prayer.

We had to say “goodbye” much too soon, definitely a wound that will take time to heal. However, God has promised, for those that belong to Him, we will meet the “bee” again someday. We take comfort in the Lord and lean on Him. Thank you Debbie for bringing joy to our lives!

The family will receive friends this Saturday, May 18th from 1- 2 PM at Tampa First Church of the Nazarene, 5902 N. Himes Avenue, Tampa Florida. Funeral service will follow at 2 pm.

I am so sorry to hear about Debbie and my heart is broken. I have so many wonderful memories of time spent with her throughout the years. She was an important part of my growing up at Tampa First. Her smile, kindness, and humor will be missed. I am praying for her family and friends during this unexpected and difficult time. She was greatly loved and will be greatly missed.

I am truly blessed to have known Debbie and to call her friend and sister..loved by all that knew her. We already miss her and there are no grouping of words that can adequately express our feelings one to another. It is comforting to know that Debbie knew who she was and "whose" she was. My prayer for the family is to claim God's promise that He is faithful, He will give us mercy, grace and peace, God Bless Us All

It saddens me to hear of the passing of Mrs. Mcquiniff, she was truly a great person and I enjoyed working with her. May God bless and continue to keep watch over her family. She will surely be missed.

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go to prepare a place for you, I will receive you unto myself; that where I am, there he may also be. John 14:1–3
