Vernon was the best brother any girl could have. What an amazing man. Kind, gentle, hard worker, conscientious, loving, giving, caring, talented, gorgeous singing voice, amazing poet and children's book author (although not yet published). Vernon's life was absolutely about service. He served and gave then served again. His laughter was beyond wonderful. He could make a person laugh just by hearing him laugh. Everyone who met Vernon loved him. Praise God he's with Jesus for all eternity never to experience pain at any level on this earth again. I'll miss you brother. I wrote you a beautiful poem but was unable to have it read to you. It said how dearly you were loved. See you in Heaven. Meet me at the gate. Your adoring sister, Vickie

My Precious Brother! You will be so missed and thought of! I know we cannot comprehend Heaven, nor the joy you are experiencing. Your laughter will be missed. How awesome it was for you to have Vince in your life to encourage the laughter in the midst of the storm. My tears fall because of memories as well as the laughter! Godspeed my awesome baby brother!
