Laurimar Goldesberry, age 44, passed away peacefully May 8,  2019 due to battle with stomach, colon and ovarian cancer. She was born December 21, 1974 in San Juan, Puerto Rico to Victor Manual Sierra and Maria Laura Garcia.  She married her best friend and love Jared Goldesberry on August 25, 2001.

Laurimar loved to love on people.  She rarely sat still, always on the move. Once she sat still, she was not going anywhere.  While everyone is planning, Laurimar was living. She would light up any room she walked into.  She always made the right call. She worked multiple jobs because she always wanted to contribute.  She was absolutely amazing with children, especially small children. She taught them to think for themselves (don’t do something you don’t like for someone’s approval), honesty, determination, consideration and love.

Laurimar loved her friends and was loved by them.  She was easy to have a conversation with and it felt like you knew her for many years.

Laurimar is survived by her husband of 17 years, Jared Goldesberry and five children Laura Hahn (Jordan) age 25; Raymond Rivera Sierra , age 24; Emanuel Rivera Sierra, age 23;  Jadon James Goldesberry, age 8; and Levi Neil Goldesberry, age 6; and two grandchildren Delamaria Joy Hahn, age 6 and Daenerys Jordynn Hahn, age 3. Also survived by her mother Maria Laura Garcia and older brother Victor Sierra Garcia.

Please join us celebrating her life Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. Light Up The Night, Celebrating the Life of Laurimar Goldesberry at 8004 N. Highland Avenue, Tampa, FL 33604.  Her light will continue to shine in her family and friends. She will live in our hearts forever.

Please bring your favorite photo of Laurimar to include in a photo album for her family. RSVP to smking@attnet. In lieu of flowers and donations, a gofundme has been established under the Jared Goldesberry family.

Laurimar was very sweet the few times I was able to meet her. Raymond would tell me stories about how she was always the life of the party. I’m so very sorry for your loss and I am keeping her whole family in my prayers.
