She married Ron on June 19th, 1971, and they marked 50 beautiful years of marriage with all their family around them.
Kathleen graduated from the University of Akron with a bachelor’s degree in Biology and Medical Technology and used her degree to work in the Akron Children’s Hospital as a medical technologist for a year. She then spent the next twelve years working as a housewife, mother, and home manager in the midst of moving to Naples, Bartow and then finally Tampa, FL. Her love and service reached far and wide through the years after retirement as she continued to serve her family, church family, and friends. Through the years, she touched so many lives with her constant gifts of service. She worked tirelessly as a seamstress, cook, caregiver, confidant, friend, prayer warrior, encourager, protector, mentor, preacher’s wife, elder’s wife, mother, nana, and child of God. She enjoyed spending time with family, reading (avidly), daily journaling, and Bible study. She was loved and cherished by all who knew her. Kathleen’s servant heart for Christ will be loved and missed dearly.
