Obituary

Kitty Ann Kleisath, (birth name Katharine) passed over peacefully and went home to be with Her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 8, 2020 and won't be alone as she was preceded in death by her husband and will be met by her husband Chip Kleisath in Heaven. Kitty was 76 yrs old and was born in Bronx, New York on August 19, 1943 to Peter and Jean Saracco and was raised in a Reformed Jewish home .She attended William Taft High School in New York City and graduated in 1961.  She studied Art at Pratt University and developed the desire to be a teacher. She met Chip Kleisath in NY and married him in Washington DC in 1966. They were married 51 years and had two children a daughter and son who are her survivors, Steven Lee Kleisath and Dawn Kaye Kleisath. In 1980 Kitty and Chip moved to Tampa, and became residents of Florida. She worked as a legal secretary for 20 years .She came to Faith in the Lord and accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior in 1980.She attended CFNI (Christ for the Nations Institute ) in Dallas TX and graduated with an AA in 1987. She con her education and received her BA in Education  from Faith Outreach College in Tampa FL. She founded and started Shekinah Ministries in Lakeland, FL and she really launched out in full time ministry after she had a divine encounter with the Lord. Carpenters Home Church her home church in Lakeland in 1993 through 1995, attending Revival meetings which transformed her entire life. She accepted the call to overseas missions and as a Messianic Jew was able to extensively travel and teach in Israel for a 10 year period and traveled and spoke and taught as a Biblical Teacher on the Hebrew Roots for 2 decades. She loved music, dance and art and participated in all three formats for her ministry and speaking performances. She was a global world traveler and traveled to Israel, Jordan, England, Italy, throughout the Caribbean and Mexico and all through the USA. She loved teaching and taught as a elementary school teacher for Christian and Jewish schools..She retired with her husband in 2009 and settled for the last 10 years of her life in Hernando County and moved back to Tampa the last three years to live with her daughter after her husband passed. She was a member of The River at Tampa Bay Church and also regularly attended Shoresh David Messianic Congregation both in Tampa .

Kitty was a beloved sister, wife, mother, and minister of the Lord as well as a writer, teacher, artist, dancer, speaker and radiant, passionate soul, who inspired and loved countless people, especially women, to live fully and to follow your passion and serve and love God with all your heart and soul and she loved the teaching the Bible and Jewish roots .
 She will be deeply missed and will live forever in our hearts and we will see her one day and be reunited soon .

She was preceded in death by her parents Peter and Jean Saracco; Aunt Rose Saracco; husband Art Kleisath aka Chip: husbands' Parents, Florence Kleisath and Art Kleisath Sr., husbands' uncle and aunt Winnie and Andrew Shreve .
She is survived by her son and daughter Steve Kleisath and Dawn Kaye Kleisath

A  small private graveside interment service for close friends and family will be held at Rest Haven Memorial Park and Cemetery on May 5th at 11 am.
