Obituary

Lillian Zobeida Lopez passed away on August 24,2021 at AdventHealth Carrollwood Hospital. She was 68 years old, born in Guayanilla, PR (Ponce). She came to Tampa, FL in 1999. She worked as a patient transporter at St. Joseph Hospital for 10 years. She was Christian and attended the church ABBA “The house of my father”. She had three children, Ernesto Garcia, Jose Manuel Gonzalez and Jossie Yamille Gonzalez. Her 6 grandchildren were Vanessa Marie Garcia, Jose Manuel Gonzalez, Taina Yamille Gonzalez, Lian Merari Gonzalez, Frankie Yamille Figueroa, and Yabel Rivera.

Lillian became a widow in 1980. She always wanted the best for her children, for them to progress in life. She would give her life for them along with her grandkids and great grandkids. She was very selfless and always thought of them if she went out to the store and saw something, she believed they would enjoy.

She taught her children how to love God above all things and was a service woman that was always available to anyone whether it be for advice or prayer, she was a woman of Faith.

She loved to worship the Lord and she would always dance as she worshipped and her Hallelujah was the most distinct one that everyone in the church knew, “Oh yes, that’s Lilian”. Although she is no longer here on this earth with us, she is in the sky dancing and worshiping as she did while here on earth. Even during her last days, she spent them worshipping and singing, and watching services on her cellphone. She would sometimes not remember they were recorded services and would ask everyone in the house to respect and be quiet as she attended the virtual service. Her purpose on this planet was to serve the Lord and there was no doubt about that.

She had such a sense of humor she loved to laugh, but don’t be fooled because she also had her strong character. If she didn’t like something, she would make sure you knew, and in just her look you could tell.

Her greatest desire was for all her children and grandchildren to be at church and to see them all United.

Her family will miss her dearly as she was the sunshine of their lives and knew how to make them all laugh and smile in the little things she did and said.

Rest in Peace. Thank you for all condolences.

"ENTRUSTED TO OUR CARE"
