Michelle Leora (Cunningham) Sabala

September 2, 2020

This is the story of Michelle Leora (Cunningham) Sabala. Michelle was a Wonderful Daughter, Mother, Sister, Niece. She was loved, and is missed. She will always be cherished.  Our spit-fire as she was called by her grandfather, or "Michy," as she was affectionately called when she was little,
Michelle's Story starts on August 29th, 1978, the middle child to Richard Cunningham and Aniram Alicea. Michelle was born in Miami Florida, she was raised in Tampa Florida where she attended Dickenson Elementary, Town and Country Christian academy and Graduated from ER. Williams Prep.
While Michelle grew up, she made lots of childhood friends, I can remember a time when while in elementary school she made the front-page news with her best friend Meloney as they were eating watermelon. She was extremely proud of that.
She had lots of memorable moments growing up.  Only her friends and sister would enjoy reminiscing about the time when she was running after a hat that flew into the water, in her teen years, and being so upset that it got lost at sea.
We used to call her Doctor Dolittle and swore she could talk to the animals she had such a knack for and they always seemed to follow her home.
Michelle was the middle child and Loved her baby brother the two were almost so close that everyone thought they were twins. Wherever Michy was there was Ricky.
Michelle was very close to her oldest sister Elizabeth but as sister's do, they had their ups and down, however, no matter what they were always sisters and loved one another.
Back in 1996 Michells soon found herself in a whirlwind romance with her soon to be Husband Carlos Caesar Sabala Jr. They shortly Married in a Spanish Nazarene Church and found themselves starting a family with their only Daughter Stephany Sabala
Michelle found her joy working at Starbucks in Tampa airport and   then at Mcdonalds.  She enjoyed her job and loved all her coworkers.
In 2003 Michelle was hit by her first life traumatic experience. She lost her Husband to Diabetes.
Raising a little girl on her own was difficult but with the help of her grandmother became easier.  She eventually meet her Boyfriend Peter Sansone. They would soon have two more children Sabrina and Andrew; Michelle lived her life for those children and loved them more than anything in the world.
Michelles life was hard and she battled many illnesses, no matter how much her life illness would try to push her down she kept going with a good attitude and a cheerful spirit.
Michelle had a love for Dolphins and would spend time admiring them and wanting to be a part of their world, maybe that is why she loved the little mermaid so much!
Michelle was blessed with a grandchild and her heart was overjoyed, There's no denying that, her grandbaby was the one thing she loved the most.

On Wednesday September 2nd 2020 our world would come to a stop the light of Michelle was turned off. No one had seen this coming, the wonderful full of life person we all loved and adored was no more. how quickly her life was an to be taken so soon we'll never have the words to express how sad we are that she is gone,
Loved ones that cleared the path for Michelle in death were her Grandmother, Abby Dixon, Her Grandfather Ovlin Dixon, Her cousin Michael Stoll, Her Brother Richard O. Cunningham, Her Aunt Liza Llerena.   All her Loved one that will miss Michelle's Daughter's Stephany, Sabrina, and Son Andrew, Michell's Mother Aniram, Stepfather, Edwin, Stepbrother, Eddie Jr. Sister, Elizabeth, Father, Richard Cunningham, Boyfriend, Peter Sansone, Her Granddaughter, Natalia, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
